Numbers 34 and 36 High Street

Number 34 High Street, originally Black Boy Chocolates in the 1880s, and thereafter a succession of small cafes and tea rooms is now home to a branch of Georgia Bell Hairdressers.

Number 36 is an impressive Gothic style building and was originally Masons Jewellers, remodelled by them around 1880 although the rear of the current store dates back to 1760 and has medieval foundations. Number 36 was a branch of Hambys Shoes from 2003 to 2018 but is now home to the Holy Ghost Tattoo Collective, founded by Award winning tattoo artist Emily Dawson.
